Echo Players is proud to present its first production of the season "Enchanted April"

"Enchanted April", indeed! We begin our story in England, February 1922. It's damp, dreary, depressing, soggy, foggy and, and well, just downright miserable. Relationships inside Lotty and Mellersh Wilton's household mirrors this unhappy, gloomy weather. All seems hopeless until Lotty accidentally spots a small ad in the 'Times' for a month's let in a small Italian castle that promises 'wisteria and sunshine'.

The duo did the expedition to raise awareness about marine debris (plastics in the ocean), and fundraise for the Living Oceans Society and Tangaroa Blue, two organisations who run beach cleanups and use data to tackle the trash at the source. Mathilde will talk about how they completed the journey without using any single use plastics.

Mark Crissinger Live at Mount Arrowsmith Brewing

Mark Crissinger is a 2017 Maple Blues Award nominee from Vancouver Island. He has been performing in pubs, clubs, festivals, and fairs since 1987. His solo show features stellar guitar playing and soulful vocals. The harmonica and a resonator guitar can make an appearance as well. During a song, he will often loop (record) what he is playing and solo over it. This sounds like two guitars playing at the same time and fills out the sound of the show.

The Milk Crate Bandits started as Jack Ray busking on the streets of Sydney and Vancouver and of course, stealing milk crates to sit on.
The Milk Crate Bandits make music to make you dance, smile and party. It’s music born on the streets. Walking down the streets of Vancouver you’ll see them on their stolen plastic thrones and playing the sounds of New Orleans. Yes, some may say they’re crooks but the petty theft of a milk crate from a back alley is surely absolved by the love they’ll give you if you co...more info

Oceanside Concerts is a subscription concert series.
Subscriptions are only available for the season. Tickets are not sold to individual concerts. The reason this is done is to have a predictable income that allows us to book the best talent available. It also means that our volunteers have a major campaign blitz before the season starts without all of the overhead of a box office. Even more importantly it gives the subscribers a carefully crafted concert experience over the entire series.
