Join us as Mathilde Gordon discusses her 3 month kayak adventure from Juneau, Alaska to Victoria on Vancouver Island, which she completed with her friend this past Summer. The duo did the expedition to raise awareness about marine debris (plastics in the ocean), and fundraise for the Living Oceans Society and Tangaroa Blue, two organisations who run beach cleanups and use data to tackle the trash at the source. His solo show features stellar guitar playing and soulful vocals. The harmonica and a resonator guitar can make an appearance as well. Oceanside Concerts is a subscription concert series.
Subscriptions are only available for the season. Tickets are not sold to individual concerts. The reason this is done is to have a predictable income that allows us to book the best talent available. It also means that our volunteers have a major campaign blitz before the season starts without all of the overhead of a box office.
