La Familia Halloween Dance at the Errington Hall
You’re invited to wear your scariest ‘Day of the Dead’ costume to our Halloween all ages dance with the fiendishly good latin fiesta band, La Familia. This 10-piece group has been heating up dance floors since 2014 with a repertoire drawn from such great groups as Santana, The Gypsy Kings, Buena Vista Social Club, Celia Cruz, and Mana.
La Familia offers up musical flavours from Cuba, Colombia, the Caribbean and Mexico. Many of their fiesta style dance songs are traditional and contemporary salsa, cumbia, samba and merengue styles with a few latinized crossover covers as well. Their songs are infectiously fun, sensual and celebratory – all wrapped into one package to make the body groove.
