Tracey has a deep interest in teaching yoga to those that are suffering from chronic pain and illness such as arthritis and other joint and muscle disorders. She has learned the importance of staying active and working with physical challenges to overcome pain. Tracey’s style of class offers meditation ideas, proper breathing techniques along with fluid body movements to get the joints mobile before stretching.

Qualicum Beach Christmas Tree Auction. From 3 to 6 pm on November 15th the public is invited to join the Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce and members for appies, beverages, a silent auction and a live auction of locally decorated Christmas Trees. Come and view the trees in advance on the 13th and 14th.
A portion of the proceeds raised at this event will be donated to the SOS Caring for Community at Christmas program.

Start your service dog candidate out right! Learn how to teach your dog how to pay attention without being told, keep a loose leash in and out of doorways and getting in and out of your car. Begin training her to relax when asked to in the presence of other dogs. These are the basic behaviors needed by every service dog. Weekly handouts provided.
