Take part in this year’s 19th annual hunt for the golden shoe in regional and community parks. Each week a golden shoe is hidden in an RDN park and a clue to its location is released. Head out to the park to find the shoe, log your entry and maybe win a prize. Adventurers of all ages will enjoy the hunt. Clues and instructions for the locations of the shoes will be posted weekly to getinvolved.rdn.ca/goldenshoe, and RDN social media (Facebook and Instagram) starting April 11.

He will give you tips and possibilities to work up your version in the class. At the end of the class you will have produced a very unique piece of art. We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting our Earth Day Forest Walk again this year. Verna Mumby, local Consulting Arborist also known as “the Tree Lady”, will be guiding attendees through the wonderful forest paths along Thames Creek in Bowser. Verna’s knowledge of the forest ecosystem is fascinating to listen to, and makes us fully appreciate this precious resource.

Volunteers skilled in repair contribute their time to help you get your items fixed for free!
