HAVE YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO PAINT THE FIGURE BUT FEEL INTIMIDATED?
I will show you my step by step process on painting a group of ladies with purses and/or umbrellas.
We will create whimsical women while learning the essentials of creating simplified figures using negative painting techniques. You will discover how to reduce the body into basic shapes. Using a limited palette we will make a delightfully textured, experimental underpainting. The ladies’ head, body, and legs will emerge by glazing layers of transparent and opaque acrylics. Further interest and pattern will be created using stencils and collage.
