3,2,1-Create Exhibition
This exhibition will be open at the MAC from Sep 7 through Oct 12. The MAC is open Tue-Sun 10-4.
Over the past decade, the three artists have been working together. Amazing Race in the Parks
This program will have you racing your way through the park. You will discover road blocks and detours that will put your team dynamics to the test. The challenges will be fun and will leave you inspired to be in the outdoors. Two locations and dates to choose from: Englishman River Reg Park on Saturday September 7 and/or Rathtrevor Provincial Park on Sunday, October 6. Families, teams and individuals welcome. Cost is $15 person or $40 group.

Enjoy the peace and serenity of the Golden Shrine and gardens. Sit or walk in meditation or simply enjoy the atmosphere in silence, turn the prayer wheels, light a butterlamp, make a heart wish in the wishing garden. A facilitator will be present to answer questions though our general goal is to maintain silence as much as possible. The gift shop will be open.

'Nature's Hidden Treasures' Exhibition by Rich Williams

Parksville Fire Prevention Week Open House
Each year, the Parksville Fire Department recognizes Fire Prevention Week (October 6 to 12) and again this year will open its doors to the public on Sunday, October 6 from 10 am to 2 pm. The open house takes place at the fire hall located at 160 Jensen Avenue West.

This is our Second Annual Show. The Parksville and District Rock and Gem Club is excited to invite everyone to explore rocks and gems. Uniquely Hawaiian, hula is the telling of stories through dance and song. Hula helps to ease tension and stress. Many Hawaiian songs are about nature; the waves, wind, flowers, rain, mountains, etc. Visualizing and interpreting the words with movement can mentally transport you to, and connect you with nature. Hula is a mind-body-spirit experience.
Group classes for women’s hula will be held at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre in the OAP Room. This is an open level class where the pace is set by the students. Class size is limited to 10 participants. Newcomers welcome!
