Auto Cross: Every 3rd Sunday of the month bring your own vehicle and test & improve your driving performance skills on the racetrack. For licenced drivers ("L" & "N" licences too). Drive your car through a challenging obstacle course marked by pylons designed to improve your driving knowledge and better understand you & your cars driving limitations. Registration 10am-2:30pm.

The NCO will play 5 works, featuring guest pianist, Sarah Hagen, to play 2 of these: Bruch’s “Serenade on a Swedish Folk Melody”, Nielsen’s “Bohemian-Danish Folktune”, and Elgar’s “Great Malvern Suite”. Then, with Sarah, Finzi’s “Eclogue”, and the premiere of a work by Richard Covey. “Esplanade: In Memory of the Seven and the Seven”, is based on the disastrous 1887 fire in Nanaimo’s Esplanade No. 1 coal mine that killed 148 men, leaving only 7 survivors and 7 never found
