Registration for the SOS Christmas program: SOS wants to ensure all local children and youth receive a special gift, and that families, adults and seniors can choose the food they wish to have over the holidays. To donate to the program visit www.sosd69.com, call 250-248-2093, or drop by the SOS Community Services Centre in Parksville at 245 West Hirst Ave., Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. New, unwrapped gifts are also gratefully accepted at this location to fill the SOS Toy Shop where low-income parents and grandparents shop for their children for free.
