The Candlelight Tribute Service was started in 1995 in the Netherlands when Dutch children laid lighted candles on the graves of Canadian soldiers, leaving them burning overnight in silent tribute to the fallen. The candles that we use are made in the Netherlands specifically for this purpose. The subtle glow of these candles, especially when placed in numbers, creates a solemn and unforgettable image for the evening of Remembrance.

Tracey has a deep interest in teaching yoga to those that are suffering from chronic pain and illness such as arthritis and other joint and muscle disorders. She has learned the importance of staying active and working with physical challenges to overcome pain. Tracey’s style of class offers meditation ideas, proper breathing techniques along with fluid body movements to get the joints mobile before stretching.

Ken's music is a fresh take on modern jazz that includes elements of Brazilian choro, Middle Eastern classical, New Orleans funk and much more. Ken has two records to his name and has toured eastern Canada extensively. He will be joined by James McRae, Astrid Lyre and Larry Miller fo his Vancouver Island dates and by Ben Henriques, David Blake and Bernie Arai for his Vancouver show.
