Interested in learning to create and tell your personal stories?
As we tell our stories, they touch the stories of others, but it is an art to be able to share the stories of our lives in a way that keeps people interested and engaged. It is an art that can be learned.
The Mid-Island Story Tellers (MIST) are offering a Personal Storytelling Workshop January 18th 10am - 4pm at the MacMillan Arts Centre in Parksville Facilitated by Susan Warner and Norma Cameron, this fun and instructive workshop will offer simple tips and plenty of opportunities to practice together, and by the end of the day, you will have learned what you need to tell the stories of your life to an audience or a group of friends.
Cost of Workshop: $75 for MIST members, $100 for non-members
Membership in MIST is only $10 per year. To find out more about MIST, learn about our storytelling programs, or to become a member, go to www.midislandstorytellers.com.
