Twenty-nine years ago, a love for the sport of beach volleyball led to the creation of the largest and longest running beach volleyball tournament on Vancouver Island, Volleybash.
This annual event is a favorite among players from all across the province including Vancouver, Kelowna, and of course Vancouver Island. It attracts a variety of players of different levels and ages, but they all come to Parksville to have fun and play volleyball.
The 3-day tournament features 32 courts and 1 feature court. There is a division for all skill levels! Some great prizes to be won and a cash purse for the open divisions for both triples and men's and women's doubles.
One day of play includes a tournament t-shirt, lunch and dinner. $50 for one day of play; $80 for two days of play. Play a second day for only $30 more!
