Join us for this Micro:Bit Critters Workshop at the Oceanside Community Makerspace. Participants get to build and program their very own critter made of craft materials and a Micro:Bit.

This workshop is suitable for youth 9 to 12 years of age.
Bring water and a snack.After the workshop, you have the option to take home the Micro:Bit for $25.
No previous Micro:Bit or programming experience is required.

Lynn Orriss was introduced to art at an early age in Edmonton AB through the family gallery and picture framing shop and she says a day doesn’t go by where she isn’t being creative. She took courses at the University of Alberta where she studied drawing, watercolor, oil painting and etching. Her works have been exhibited across Canada and are included in private collections around the world. She has recently enjoyed working in mixed media and polymer clay and creates unique jewelry with a Steampunk flare....more info
