Roger Griffiths, who has visited our club previously on a different topic, and who is an excellent speaker, will present “ALPINE FLOWERS OF B.C. & A BIT BEYOND – OR HOW I CAME TO APPRECIATE ALPINE FLOWERS” This is a 30-minute presentation of still images & video of the wide range of flowers that are found in alpine areas across the province from the north to the south. It starts with a personal awaking as to the beauty of the alpine flora & appreciation of the harsh conditions they grow in & concludes with a visit to a National Park in the Yukon as well as one in Alberta.
