CFUW PQ's Monthly Meeting
As the United Nation's Decade on Ecosystem Restoration begins, we welcome guest speaker Briony Penn, "Lady Godiva: Forest Activism Update." How can we move beyond scientific concepts to transform our economy, climate and our relationship to the earth? As a naturalist, writer, educator, and broadcaster, Penn discusses projects that could restore the land, our health, and the cultural diversity of our coast. Her indomitable spirit and tireless devotion to protecting endangered species will enlighten and inspire everyone!
Guests and new members are welcome to attend. Doors open at 6:30pm, so please come early to visit with friends, colleagues, and guests.
