Danish Club Nanaimo’s 30th Birthday Party

This year, we will be offering a similar menu including a couple of types of pickled herring and a full “Kroplatte” (an assortment of Danish style open-faced sandwiches, very Danish & Delicious!). The meal will be prepared by a team of experienced Danish chefs working under the supervision of our own Henny Andersen. Last year, certain and specific duties (cook one item on the menu) were assigned to each of our chefs and then they all came together to assemble the finished product. It was a huge success (and a lot of fun!)
This dinner style has been a sellout in the past at other Danish Clubs like Danish Club Victoria and Scandinavian Cultural Centre in Burnaby. So, please order your tickets sooner rather than later! More information on how to order your tickets below.
PROGRAM FOR THE EVENING
5:00 to 6:00 pm Happy Hour
6:00 DINNER
7:30 Dance to the music of “Dan and the Seniors”
8:30 to 9:00 Raffle & Refreshments
9:00 to 10:00 pm Dance & Enjoy the music!
Bring your friends and enjoy a great evening of good fun, danish food and music! Also, please bring your phones and cameras and take some photos to share on our website!

*Donations of new, good quality items for our raffle will be greatly appreciated.
**Volunteers are always welcome to help set up at 11 am on the day of the party and will be rewarded with Henny’s leverpostej, rye bread and coffee. Thank you!

Note: Any group or party should designate ONE person to phone in the number of people and the names of those in the party. Should you, after ordering tickets find yourself unable to attend after all, make sure to cancel your reservation! Unless you do so by April 10th, you will have to pay for your ticket!
