Art Bites: Mosaics with Debra Hagen

Debra worked in mosaics for the past 15 years, has a Masters in Mosaic class at Orsonis Glass Factory in Venice, Italy, and has completed several other classes with internationally respected mosaic artists.
This class will introduce you to the world of contemporary mosaic art. You will learn about tesserae (the bits and pieces you use to make the design), adhesives (the sticky stuff you use to attach your tesserae), substrates (what you attach your bits and pieces to) and so much more. In addition, you will have to opportunity to create a small mosaic of your own to take home.
About Art Bites: Art Bites is an 8-week course designed to give you a taste of a variety of art mediums. Each 2-hour class introduces you to a new medium and show you the basic techniques using a small array of supplies. Go home each week with a piece of your own and a sense of how this art medium works. Pick and choose one or more classes. Classes are $30 each, 4 for $#100 or take all 8 for 200.
