Don is one of the most original guitarists you’ll ever hear. And also one of the most celebrated. He has won ever major Modern Guitar Competition, been recognized by the Canadian Folk Music Awards and Western Canadian Music Awards, and is a recipient of the prestigious Dominic Troiano Award. In October 2017 he also won “Artist of the Year” at the Vancouver Island Music Awards.
Hot off his recent Europe tour, Alder continues to ‘wow’ audiences around the world with his jaw-dropping, one man band act. His singing is soulful and heartfelt and his storytelling and guitar playing is highly entertaining.
