Parksville Qualicum Beach Christmas Bird Count
This year will be our 29th BCPQ Count and the 120th Christmas Bird Count.
Look up the results and a variety of information about the Christmas Bird Counts of the past years at: https://www.audubon.org/conservation/science/christmas-bird-count
Each team will have 3-7 birders of various skill levels, at least one scope and will be assigned a specific area to cover. If you are interested in participating ‘in the field’ or as a ‘feedercounter’, a past CBC team leader, skilled birder and anyone willing to help with planning a team or other aspects of the Count to please contact Sandra Gray ASAP.
If you live within the BCPQ Count Circle you may pick up a Feedercount Checklist at the November 28 meeting of Arrowsmith Naturalists:

Traditional Post-Count-Potluck takes place right after the count:

Please bring a food item to share, your own plate, cup, and cutlery along with your "Story of the Day."
