Mark Crissinger is a 2017 Maple Blues Award nominee. His band is a contemporary blues band featuring an all-star cast of musicians from the Nanaimo area. Their multiple performances at blues festivals in Nanaimo, Victoria, Chemainus, Parksville, Duncan as well as pubs and clubs and private parties, have gained them friends and fans across Vancouver Island, the lower mainland, and beyond.
Blending traditional themes with clever lyrics and modern arrangements, the band combines different styles to give their show plenty of variety. You will hear some Boogie Woogie, Funk, Rock, Shuffle and Swing. Dancing, singing, clapping, and laughing are all encouraged.
The Mark Crissinger Band ignites audiences every time they play. When you combine fresh ideas, excellent musicianship, and audience participation the result is a good time for everyone.
