Mike Yip is a retired teacher and an amateur avian photojournalist, dedicated to increasing public awareness of the birds on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. He writes bimonthly bird articles for a local newspaper, is a frequent PowerPoint presenter for festivals and clubs, and has self-published three books on Vancouver Island birds.
