Raincity Halloween Dance at the Errington Hall
The Errington Hall’s annual all ages Halloween costume dance presents East Van funk-rockers Raincity. There’s a 1970s and 1980s costume theme, so prepare to get your hippie or disco vibe going.
Fronted by female leads on saxophone and vocals by Parksville-raised Clare Twiddy, Raincity’s audacious performance is loaded with engaging interplay and explosive energy. The five members combine their eclectic influences including Amy Winehouse, Moon Hooch, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, creating a distinctive sound with infectious grooves, chameleon tones, and no regard for boundaries. Each musician is equipped with as much personality and style as musicality, leading to a dynamic live experience that is unapologetic and empowering.
