3,2,1-Create Exhibition
This exhibition will be open at the MAC from Sep 7 through Oct 12. The MAC is open Tue-Sun 10-4.
Over the past decade, the three artists have been working together. The photographer, Don Zeghers, takes artistic photos during vacations and daily events that often inspire Krista Zeghers and Coreen Zerr. Uniquely Hawaiian, hula is the telling of stories through dance and song. Hula helps to ease tension and stress. Many Hawaiian songs are about nature; the waves, wind, flowers, rain, mountains, etc. Visualizing and interpreting the words with movement can mentally transport you to, and connect you with nature. Hula is a mind-body-spirit experience.
Group classes for women’s hula will be held at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre in the OAP Room. This is an open level class where the pace is set by the students. Class size is limited to 10 participants. Newcomers welcome!

Active Aging Week
Inspire wellness with free activities all week from October 1 to 7 in celebration of active aging. Local resources will be showcased and older adults are invited to try a fitness or yoga class, spinning or model railroad club or take a brain and nutrition workshop and much more.

These beginner clog dancing classes are fun and offer dance music for all tastes.
A partner is not needed and all clog dances will be taught in circles and lines.
Classes start promptly at noon and finish at 1:00 pm. Especially suited for older home learners and adults.
Jingle taps will be available at each class and can be glued onto most common street shoes.

'Nature's Hidden Treasures' Exhibition by Rich Williams
