VISA Winter Snowsports Festival

This program is an annual event sponsored by the Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snowsports and Mt. Washington Resort on Vancouver Island. This program is offered to people with learning challenges who would like to expand their horizons and learn an exhilarating sport which can become a lifelong family activity. Anyone over the age of six years and who has some ability to learn is welcome. We offer novice lessons in downhill, snowboard or cross country skiing as well as a ski improvement segment if you have some experience. We are able to accept a maximum of 25 students; however “first-time” applicants will be given priority in the selection of participants.
