Festival of Lights 2018 is nearing quickly. This year’s light up is Thursday, November 29. A reminder that light up night has always been the last Thursday of November.
From the last Thursday in November until the second Sunday in January, Ladysmith is ignited with the life of thousands of twinkling Christmas lights.
The Kinsmen Light-up Parade will kick off the 2018 season at 6:40pm. For more information on all the great activities taking place please visit our website.

Xmas Tree Recycling by donation. Please recycle your tree at the Real Canadian Superstore located at 6435 Metral Drive on Saturday & Sunday, January 5 & 6 from 10:00 – 4:00, or at DBL’s Yard at 333 -10th Street in south Nanaimo between 10:00 and 4:00 any day during the month of January (also by donation). Proceeds help support the many services provided by Volunteer Nanaimo.
