A tribute to women, through the immortal story of grace, mind and femininity prevailing over brute force. Scheherazade’s stories for the Thousand and One Nights are masterfully composed by Rimsky-Korsakov, and are preceded by a womanly fanfare penned by American composer Joan Tower.
