This fun biannual event held at Fairwinds is open to anyone and for a good cause: Nanoose Community Services (NCS). The 2016 Field Day raised over $2,500 and helped to provide much-needed food and staples for people in our community who need and depend upon the help of their neighbours.

QF Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition & Exhibition 2018
The QF Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition & Exhibition begins with the "pound up" on Thursday July 12th, when sculptors build and fill their forms. Once their forms are filled and the sculptor feels they are solidly packed, they may remove their forms and begin carving.
