Listen to historical stories told by knowledgeable guides about this 124-year-old church, one of the first 3 public buildings in Parksville. See the original cedar logs, fir flooring, panelling and pews, and commemorative stained glass windows. Ring the old church bell. Walk the pioneer cemetery. Every Tuesday in July and August from 10am-2pm.

The QF Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition & Exhibition begins with the "pound up" on Thursday July 12th, when sculptors build and fill their forms. Once their forms are filled and the sculptor feels they are solidly packed, they may remove their forms and begin carving.
