An expert on fire safety issues, Parksville Fire Chief Marc Norris will share his updated knowledge of fire prevention, firefighting, and emergency services. Norris joined the PVFD in 1990 as firefighter, eventually becoming the full time career deputy chief responsible for training and fire prevention. He became Fire Chief in 2016, and is the second Parksville fire chief in his family; his father Paul Norris was the fire chief from 1985 to 1989.
An off-shoot of Rotary, Parksville Probus Club is a non-profit, non-political group of professionals and business-persons (hence the name PRO-BUS)...more info
