The Princess Sophia Remembered is a sixty-minute storytelling presentation commemorating the worst coastal disaster in British Columbia and Alaska. One hundred years ago, on a stormy, blustery night, The Canadian Pacific coastal liner, The Princess Sophia slammed into Vanderbilt Reef in the Lynn Canal. For forty hours, the fully loaded ship floundered on the rocks. How could this have happened? Who were the passengers and crew aboard? Why have we not heard about this story? Join professional storyteller Margaret Murphy as she unfolds the riveting tale of the journey of The Princess Sophia.
