Walk for the Whales (DT Nanaimo)

Please join us to show your support for the Southern Resident Killer Whales of which only 74 remain. Be their voice and help raise public awareness. Meet like-minded people and find out more about how you can save our precious Canadian icons of the Salish Sea! 11am – 2pm. The walk will start at Terminal Avenue & Gordon Street and end in Maffeo Sutton Park. Please find suitable parking. Be creative and make a sign, an orca, or a salmon to carry, or borrow one of ours.
