Sept.23-Jazz with The Vince Mai Quartet. Back by popular demand, this highly respected member of the Vancouver jazz scene will treat us to his tasteful and lyrical interpretations of well-known standards, eternal gems of the jazz repertoire and original compositions. With Ron Hadley-piano, Rick Kilburn-bass and Damian Graham-drums.
Sept.30-Folk, Funk, and Country with Daniel Cook and The Radiators. “Daniel Cook and The Radiators” is an original West Coast roots group from Victoria, BC. that features the well-crafted songwriting of leader Daniel (guitar, vocals), whose contagious melodies and timeless stories are blended into a tasty mix of indie-folk, funk, and country.

Oct.14-Classical Soprano Anne Grimm and Bruce Vogt, piano. A native of the Netherlands and current University of Victoria Voice Faculty member, Ms. Grimm is known for her “expressive technique” and “dramatic presence” and has performed throughout Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand in concert, opera, and recital. She is joined today by UVic Piano faculty member and internationally acclaimed pianist Mr. Vogt in what is certain to be a delightfully diverse and engaging afternoon of song.
Oct.21-Classical Yu Eun Kim, violin and Wayne Weng, piano. This superb duo, both of whom have already forged esteemed international reputations on their respective instruments and are now completing advanced graduate performance degrees in Los Angeles and New York, will bring us a delectable program featuring works by Beethoven, Ravel, Bach, and Schubert.
Oct.28-Classical Mark McGregor, flute and Adrian Verdejo, guitar. Be sure not to miss these two outstanding Vancouver classical musicians as they take us on an enchanting journey across a wide spectrum of gorgeous music from all over the world that will include works by Bach, Mozart, Giuliani, Ravel, Debussy, Ibert, Takemitsu, Piazzolla and Saint-Saëns.
