Local Oceanside women meet four times a year for one hour to raise money for our local Oceanside Charities. Members can nominate an Oceanside organization and at each meeting three names are drawn from a basket, each charity can speak about their cause for five minutes and then all the members vote for their favourite choice. The votes are counted then each member writes a cheque for $100 to the successful charity (to which a tax receipt will be given) Over $20,000 will be raised in less than an hour!!!...more info
