ECHO Players Presents: The Christmas Express by Pat Cook
Directed by Mari-Lyn Kelly. The residents of Holly are in a pre-Christmas funk - especially the train station manager Hilda, but when Leo Tannenbaum appears from nowhere on Dec 23rd, things begin to change around the Holly Railway Station.
A long defunct radio springs to life, the local carolers (notoriously awful) sound like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and everyone seems to be filled with Christmas spirit. Is it Leo's doing, or just a coincidence?
This nostalgic theatrical greeting card is full of eccentric small town characters, wise-cracking their way to finding the true wonder of Christmas. A delight for audiences ages 6 to 106!
