Sing-along Messiahs are a tradition in many communities and Nanaimo is no exception. Our eighth annual performance is your opportunity to be a chorister with the Malaspina Choir as we sing Handel’s transcendent Messiah under the direction of Lionel Tanod. The Cowichan Consort Orchestra provides the accompaniment along with trumpeter Stevan Paranosic and Sharon Wishart on continuo.
Scores for Messiah will be available for purchase at the door.

The NCS elves are beginning to dust the Christmas trees off, pull gifts, wrapping paper, and decorations out of storage and get ready for our 2017 Elf Program.
Trees, with Santa hat tags attached, will be on display starting November 15th in about ten locations dotted throughout the region.
