Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort teams up with the Society of Organized Services in Parksville to kick-start their Christmas Campaign with a magical event that helps children and families in need.
Tigh-Na-Mara is asking "If your child was to receive one gift, what would it be?" plus inviting everyone to their 9th annual Toy Drive Breakfast, Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 6:30 a.m.-10 a.m. This magical event is about caring about children and ensuring every child will have a gift to open this Christmas. Anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy or monetary donation receives a free breakfast buffet. Although any gifts are gratefully appreciated, this year there is a strong need for gifts for youth ages 10-18 years.
The Tigh-Na-Mara Toy Drive has been instrumental in filling up the SOS Toy Shop, so that low-income parents and grandparents may shop for free for their children and youth. Last year’s event collected over 1590 toys plus over $11,200 in cash and gift card donations.
The 9th Annual Toy Drive Breakfast takes place Wednesday, November 29th with a full buffet breakfast from 6:30-10 am. For those on a tight schedule, you can drop off your donation and take advantage of the Drive Thru breakfast from 7:30 am to 10 am.
