Team Susan Forrest Car Wash - Shelter Foundation Fundraiser
Posted By: Susan Forrest on May 29, 2025

SATURDAY, JUNE 7 - 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Every year we sponsor and contribute to the Royal Lepage Shelter Foundation, which is the largest public foundation in Canada dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and domestic violence prevention.
The proceeds that we contribute are used 80% locally to assist the local Haven House, who mission is to promote the integrity and safety of women, children, youth and families and the development of a respectful and healthy community. The remaining 20% goes to the National Shelter.
Every year Royal Lepage organizes a Trek for the Shelter to raise funds to support the foundation. This year, one of our Team Susan Forrest members, Jody Moore is going on the Trek to Cambodia.
Each trekker must raise a minimum of $6,000 to contribute to the Shelter Foundation. The trekkers cover their own trek and travel costs. During this adventure, they will trek 6-9 hours per day for five days in hot and humid conditions. While the trek won’t be easy, every step our trekkers take will help women and children in their communities find safety, hope, and healing after experiencing intimate partner violence.
In support of Jody’s trek, Team Susan Forrest is hosting a CAR WASH AT :
