This area is a paradise for both boaters and golfers. There is also incredible skiing, camping, beaches, fishing, whale watching, hiking, scuba diving and kayaking. Our mild climate permits many activities to be done year round. For the culturally inclined, there are many art galleries, world class concerts, opera, ballet and theatre. For families with children, in addition to the public school system, there are a wide range of Private, Christian and Alternative Schools, as well as colleges and universities.
