lovingly led by Barbara Gilmore, Geoff Pearson and C.J Poznansky
They are usually unplugged and are strictly for non-amplified instruments
(ie. acoustic guitars, ukuleles mandolins, harmonicas, hand drums etc)
No electric instruments please

The award winning film Aritfishal produced by by Patagonia will be shown at Knox United church in Parksville on Sunday, February 9 at 2 P.M. The film exposes risks to the future of wild salmon and the threat of extinction. It highlights the threat posed by fish farms,fish hatcheries and our loss of faith in nature. An excellent panel moderated by John Beaton will follow. Audience questions will be welcomed.

Oscar Night at the Eagles

The public is welcome for this fun Parksville event on Academy Awards night.

We're going to have a red carpet, predict the winners, and have fun and games while watching the Academy Awards.

Try something different this year!

The Fraternal Order of Eagles will be open at 3:30 to arrive and start the festivities. The awards start at 5pm, and there will be dinner by donation and a cash-only bar.
