Become a Red Cross certified babysitter. This course introduces basic first aid, how to respond to emergency situations, explains baby and child care, offers advice on becoming a responsible babysitter, and tips for finding babysitting jobs. It's that time of year when Parksville Volunteer Fire Department members collect food and toys, door-to-door throughout Parksville and the areas served by the Parksville Fire Protection Area.
